Satilla Riverkeeper Annual Cleanup!

Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

If you are able, please join us to cleanup our Satilla River landings in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. Flooding and heavy rainfall carries additional trash to the landings and the river. As a lot of us have massive cleanup efforts at our own homes and neighborhoods, we are grateful for anyone who is also able to come out and help clean up our river on Saturday, Sept. 23rd.

Each year, the Satilla Riverkeeper hosts an annual, river wide cleanup to target the chronic trash found at popular access points to the river. This year, we are excited to host our cleanup in partnership with River's Alive, Georgia's volunteer waterway cleanup program,  the International Waterkeeper Alliance Cleanup, AND the International Coastal Cleanup hosted by the Ocean Conservancy! In addition, we gain tons of community support from our own Satilla River watershed, be sure to check out all our partnering organizations below!
